“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”

– Marcel Proust

'Note the Weather' is a contemporary dance for outdoor public space. The piece provides a frame through which to notice beauty in simple, everyday things. Dancers accompanied by a live musician zoomed in on intimate details of the everyday. Using simple images, gestures movements and shapes, they provided an invitation to notice, observe and reflect on personal relationships to self, others, and the surrounding environment, highlighting the architecture of space and bodies.

Performers and audience members were invited to slow down, tune into, and respond to the immense beauty and specialness of everyday things - our neighbourhoods, the natural world, the people around us.
